Haggai: Spiritual Priorities in Tough Times

Be Assured and Encouraged

Haggai 2:20-23

This passage has to do with God’s providence.  He holds the power of life and death. He opens a door that no man can shut. But when he closes a door, no one can open it. When he overthrows a king, that king stays overthrown. That ought not to frighten us. If we are biblical Christians, it ought to give us enormous confidence as we face the problems of life. If we are wise, we will humble ourselves before Almighty God and seek to please him in everything we do.  There is coming a day when God is going to shake the heavens and the earth. In that day, everything made by the hand of man will come crashing down. Those who  look to this world for lasting approval must eventually be disappointed because the  best things of this world must one day disappear. Those who look to the God who created the world will find the safety and security that will last forever.

Food Drive - Help a Family in Need

We’re collecting food donations to bless local families in need, and we'd love for you to include some of your own favorites! Grab a food needs list at the Connection Counter, and drop off non-perishable food items here at Crossroads from October 18 through November 8. Photos will be taken after second service. Please register in advance and plan to arrive in the JAM hallway by 12:00 PM with everyone who will be in your photo.

The directory is password-protected and available only to those within the Crossroads community who request access. Your photo will also be available to download for free, with the option to purchase prints.
